Possibly the city’s best Chinese. All the requisite tacky décor[em]glass chandeliers, wall-to-wall mirrors, fish tanks full of doomed creatures, pink and white everything, unappealing photographs of food[em]but food so good you don’t even notice. Greatest hits: mandarin spareribs, scallops à la Hunan, orange peel chicken, prawns with honeyed walnuts, and the sizzling beef. Keep that water handy, the kitchen is heavy handed with the peppers.
