Sort of like a coffeeshop but with tables set far too close for lingering, Iguana Café has the feeling of a tourist-oriented café in Europe. Its endurance coupled with its seemingly limitless rotating supply of foreign-accented ingénue waitresses makes one wonder if it's connected to a hostel in back, or perhaps a parent company that also owns a European hotel. Prepare to go elbow-to-elbow when it's busy; staff think nothing of adding three extra chairs to a table for two. But the prices are so cheap and the food so good that you probably won’t care: a generous $5 club sandwich and a $4 Amstel are a bargain, especially after/before a night at Funky Buddha next door.
