Yup: same hotel from opening shot of Hawaii Five-O that's a stone's throw from Ala Moana beach and a few shopping centers. Place looks a little old, 'cause it is: been on the island since 1964. Basic hotel ameneties; regular rooms a little spartan. Suites, some villas with kitchens are good bargains, if that's what you're looking for. Make sure to request an ocean view, place (or at least one side of it) has a pretty decent one. Standard ameneties, in-house Italian dining at Sarento's, but mostly: a solid location.
