Iluna Basque

Editorial Review

Button-cute French Basque golden boy Mattin Noblia keeps this suave North Beacher humming along nicely, serving up lush small plates in a dim, wood-paneled corner. Piperade Basque stew with Serrano ham is a must-try, as are the crisp-shaved flash-fried potatoes and roasted mussels. Sip on Basque sangria French cider at the bar while pondering a plate of yummy tripe. A bit pricey, but 2-fer-1 drinks during happy hour softens the blow.
