As the Strip swanks up all around it, the Imperial Palace remains firmly downscale and mildly insane. The Asian-themed casino is home to the "Dealertainer" poker pit, where the hands are dealt by knockoffs ranging from the not-bad (Freddie Mercury, Little Richard, Gwen Stefani, Elvis) to the snicker-inducingly dire (Who is that big redhead supposed to be? Bette? Reba? Peg Bundy?), and break for a "song" every 15 minutes. Tacky, sure, but sure to bring on "only in Vegas" moments. The other big attraction of the Imperial Palace is the Auto Collections, an enormous and ever-changing array including vintage GTOs, Jaguars, Aston Martins, Isotta Fraschinis, Tom Jones' BMW, Johnny Carson's Pontiac and Al Capone's Cadillac. However, it's not exactly a place you want to stay, unless you're trying to hide out--the rooms at the back have direct access to the parking garage, there's plenty of getaway vehicles and no one would ever look for you here anyway.
