BlackBook Lowdown

Place is owned by a cooperative of six commercial fisherman (they even list their boat names on the menu) who get downright Marxist in their rhetoric. Their "Respect the Ocean, harvest the bounty, feed the people," slogan lets you know where they're coming from. But what you're coming for is seafood that was swimming the day before—both cooked and of the raw persuasion—along with open views of the sound and an outdoor area. Which is lucky, because if you stay in the main dining area you're liable to lose your mind from all the noise (luckily, there's a second one overlooking the water upstairs, too).
