Cultivating semi-authentic Indian on the beach can’t be easy, but this place tries, and that we commend. Breezy, SoBe-style dining under umbrellas outside. Inside, it's darker, closer quarters among slightly over-the-top splashes of rich purples, gold, semiprecious stones and draped saris. Prices are a little steep, but the food is good, and something has to pay for the mother of pearl communal table. Create your own samsara (sangria) from flavored brandy, juice, and wine. The youngish, hip tourists seem to love it.
