Jack Fry's

Editorial Review

Clubby steakhouse where original owner used to bootleg, take bets, and give free meals to needy friends, has authentic atmosphere that chains spend so much on trying to recreate, but fall short. Live jazz Thursday through Saturday adds to ambiance for older crowd and special-occasion diners. Deep selection of well-priced wines by the glass lets you enjoy the setting on the cheap. Service is equal to the food and ambiance.
