Editorial Review

Rivington small plates alternative to 'inoteca, with French and Spanish inflections. Cavern-like digs with vaulted ceilings, nice old bricks, welcoming bar. Excellent wine selection, some 30 by the glass, mostly Euro with nods to Napa and Sonoma. Charcuterie and cheese platters, panini, and quiche for that metrosexual fuck buddy you're not quite ready to regret. Surprisingly affordable. Shady stretch of the block keeps tourist quotient mercifully low. Kick back with a glass and watch the gurneys roll in and out of the hospice across the street.
