What was Ukie Village’s loss is now Logan Square’s gain. The BYO, cash-only café still serves breakfast and lunch (the same eggs benedict with pork belly and winter squash hollandaise, Scotch eggs, massaged kale salad with savory pudding, to name a few), but they’ve also added dinner to the menu. The nightly blue plate specials (excluding Sunday) offer one option per evening, such as venison stroganoff and chicken and pumpkin pot pie, from 5-9pm.
