Opened quietly over the winter months, former Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani designer James Fairchild's new art/antique/luxury lifestyle accessory boutique is not your grandma's home store. While the styles inside do cling to a classic motif, something about the crossed wooden skis and deer skull suggest somthing a bit more, shall we say, forward thinking. Add a smattering of American Southwest folk art jewlery next to pewter hounds head belt buckles and 19th century still lifes and you've got traditonal Hamptons design, minus the stuffy tradition.
