Jandro's Dallas

Editorial Review

This West End Mexican restaurant/club hybrid is an interesting concept. Targeted towards the Latino community, it may work in that there's a nice, affordable place to eat followed by the option of lounging and dancing. The locale is away from most of its competition off of 35, so there may not be much taking away from its business. The crowd dresses well, the food is basic - enchiladas, tacos, etc. - but decent and the music is loud and fitting for the crowd. The best thing this place has going for it is authenticity - and it's got the corner on the market in Downtown.
