Jimmy's Restaurant

Editorial Review

Walk into Jimmy’s Restaurant in downtown Aspen on a Saturday night, and you’ll see owner, Jimmy Yeager, violently twirling his dance partner between tables during his Latin dance night in the dining room.  The only thing better than Jimmy’s dance moves is his crab cakes, meatloaf, and mescal selection. Known by locals for its unreal bar menu, with great (Aspen) prices, you’ll find burly mountain men mowing specialties like Jimmy’s mac and cheese side by side with Aspen’s elite. When the barkeep pauses between tequila shots, ask about the signatures lining the walls; only then, will you understand how deals go down in Aspen. Live blues music on Friday nights for those with sorrows in need of drowning.
