John Varvatos

Editorial Review

Like the New York CBGB store, John Varvatos brings his part rock n’ roll and part modern style concept to SF. A masculine punch on an otherwise feminine block of Union Square, this two story house of style boasts handsome wood floors and manly brick walls. Doubling as an homage to all things rock, authentic pictures of Jim Morrison, Queen, and Debbie Harry hang on the walls. This designer-of-the-year compliments the sturdy space with rugged, no fuss clothing and accessories full of rock-inspired jackets, dress-down knits and linen suits. It’s quality as we know it, with the down and dirty experience. Only thing missing is the scent of stale beer and old smoke.
