Has Kate Moss ever steered you wrong? Apparently when Ms. Moss makes the Philly scene, she's been known to hang at Johnny Brenda's, so consider it universally approved. What sets this venue apart is its dedication to providing bands with a great stage and sound system; we can't vouch for whomever's on stage, but the club exacts a pretty rigorous vetting process for its acts. Add to that bars upstairs and down, and great food (especially for a club), and JB's is a win-win.
