Surprisingly unstuffy despite elegant tile floors, chandeliers and a marble-topped bar, Jules has succeeded in a location where countless others have failed. The secret? A spare little menu with time-tested French favorites like coq au vin, mussels and a gorgeous lobster and king crab bisque, served simply in plentiful portions. 3 course steak frites set meal is a true steal, and its deadly chocolate terrine dessert knocks your taste buds down but barely touches your wallet.
