Emerging from the desert as an Arabian icon, Bab Al Shams is the A-lister of the resort world. Wind towers, sandstone, and a whole lot more sand epitomize Middle Eastern decadence. Doesn’t matter that activities center around desert excursions not when private pools, shisha and belly dancing entertainment is on offer. An ethnic experience with a twist of Disneyland. Food is vast and impressive however a full English breakfast won’t include pork bacon or sausages. A minor quibble for what's otherwise a well-received hotel. Book well in advance.
