Set in the middle of an upscale shopping center, the informal Kaka’ako Kitchen would seem like a fish out of water if the food wasn’t so divine. Unfussy menu seems unimpressive until you bite in: The gourmet plates are the work of premier Hawaiian chef Russell Siu, who’s left his signature tropical mark on every dish.
