Katz's

Editorial Review

Owner Marc Katz is like those boisterous TV pitchmen who are constantly slashing prices. Except his pitch is his hot pastrami sandwich. “Traditional Jewish kosher-style cuisine” is at the core of his neverending menu. Wash it down with a cheesecake shake. On the walls are for-sale photos from the New York Times archives. They temper the audacity of the sunshine-yellow Cadillac convertible parked out front.
