Grand Dame Hotel of West Berlin's most prestigious promenade, originally opened during roaring Weimar 20's, but then destroyed in WWII air strikes. After reopening in 1959, "Kempi" reinstated as Best of the West, boasting Berlin's first hotel swimming pool. Even now, Old World attire always en vogue for aristocratic clientele. Rich if slightly outdated furnishings arranged affectionately in cozy parlor style with deluxe rooms starting around €200.
