Kenichi Aspen

Editorial Review

High-end sushi restaurant makes no concessions to its lofty elevation or the thousands of miles separating it from the ocean. Aspen classic has hung around since '91 delivering  comforting mix of hip atmosphere, attentive service, and phenomenally fresh seafood. Dynamite shrimp, marinated black cod, tempura served to look like a work of art. Sushi/sashimi sliced up by masters, "Akaushi" Kobe-style beef for something a bit heartier. Divine sake list keeps the conversation lively, private tatami room for special celebrations.
