T-shirts screen printed with cheekily altered messages—a Sonic Youth concert poster is a favorite. The jeans fit like gloves, perfect for thrashing about on beer-soaked bar floors. King 55 designers are animal friendly, no products involve furry pals. Store is as customized as the clothes: dressing room doors are made from old fridge doors, washing machines lay around unused, a reference the denim washes- though not to insinuate cleanliness; the staff themselves look like they just stepped out of a bar show.
