Kingston Mines

Editorial Review

One of Chicago's venerable blues standbys, it's expanded over its 30-some years to accommodate two storefronts and a kitchen, with artists dripping virtuosity from their fingertips. The place usually become a madhouse with blues acts playing on two stages in two different rooms, and the 2AM crowd migrating here to drink until 4AM, but you won't regret it sticking around if you run into a blues legend like Sugar Blue or Eddie Campbell.
