W. Vill Aussie from Ruby's peeps in Nolita. We're loving on refined global cuisine: gruyère and chili sauce burgers, Goan curry with monkfish, Spanish mackerel with roasted fennel. Lively scene, mismatched tables and chairs. Ivy growing from the skylight, tree-branch lightbox, butterflies and a stuffed peacock. Enough to make us feel like kings in these woods. Downstairs lounge (door off to the side) is either the new Beatrice Inn or dead depending on the night, but worth ducking into to check the scene.
