New York original franchised out to distant corners, but brings it back home with solid lineup of local acts, arts shows, film festivals, etc. Boss Hog, Les Savy Fav, Titus Andronicus. DJs for late night. Big bar area, wide stage, DIY recording studio theme. Original Tribeca ticket counter to bring back memories, otherwise cleaner and more modern than the antecedent. A lot more entertainment options around here than Leonard Street, though; will have to scramble for the discerning hipster dollar.
