Editorial Review

Bev Hills may not have Long Beach's authenticity, but does have it beat for pure proliferation of Italian restaurants. The latest comes from a well-known L.A. eatery family, and this outpost fulfills a long-held dream of breaking away from the deli case. Small restaurant with high ceilings and wood-fired ovens behind the bar. Unless you ordered the deep-fried pizza, everything is pretty traditional. Crostini look stunning, crowd is well-heeled.
