Editorial Review

Semi fast-food counter service joint serving good food with friendly service. Their gorditas (fried pockets of meat and/or veggies) and sopes (little cornmeal "bowls" with beans, sauce and cheese) are great, but they're only vehicles for tasting the real stars of this joint: their homemade salsas. Grab a ketchup squirt bottle of the hot and spicy green tomatillo salsa and the dark and smoky ancho chili salsa and go Jackson Pollock on your burrito's ass.
