BlackBook Lowdown
Bar scene with semi-authentic Tex/Tex-Mex food from über-scenesters Serge and Kordell. Take a tequila flight—blanco, reposados, or anejos. Upstairs low-key takeout, cozy dining on the side, but it's through the kitchen and down the stairs for the real action in one of the city's best hideaways. Dungeon chic and tacos. Not as stealth as last year, but still holding its own.

Dark and intimate atmosphere. Pretty people. Feel at home in a tux or a t-shirt and jeans. Great mojitos, tapas and one of the city's best tequila selections. Get there early (and with no more than a group of 3) or make a dinner reservation to avoid spending 30+ minutes awaiting access.
