La Luz de Jesus

Editorial Review

Taking the stuffy out of conservative art museums. The Dead plays low in the background and people are actually speaking out loud. Wild. People talking at an art gallery. So bizarre. And they are actually really discussing the work in common language amongst each other even if they are strangers. Keeps getting weirder and weirder. Located on the way to Silverlake, La Luz de Jesus pays homage to the Mexican Mural art movement where they believed that the art belonged to the people. Hail Diego Rivera! Hail La Luz de Jesus!
