La Régalade is where Yves Camdeborde started his bistronomic revolution, and the place remains immensely popular despite his departure for hype-monster Comptoir du Relais. Bruno Doucet’s kitchen holds true to the founder’s formula: inventive menus, generous portions, and affordable wine. The beloved all-you-can-eat pork terrine starter remains. For mains, think rustic modern, like scallops roasted with chanterelles, wild-board and chestnut stew, black puddings, and wood pigeon in red wine sauce. Worth the trek. €32 menu. Closed Saturday and Sunday, plus Monday lunch.
