Nightclub czar Charles Kabouth's transition to legit restaurateur continues with this impressive two-level resto whose Munge Leung-helmed design (the handcrafted stained-glass ceiling is particularly stunning) and classic French menu recall Paris' 1920's bistros, much in the same way Soho's Balthazar does. But instead of literary luminaries like Hemmingway and Fitzgerald dining on steak frites on the second floor terrace or the street level patio, expect Yorkville socialites desperate to be seen, and Bay street big wigs with money to burn.
