He's been known to use Cream of Wheat in his dishes, even the expensive ones. This is why he's loved by some and sneered at by others. Menu is a grab bag of worldwide hits, all fused together in a way that seems to work. Pastas alongside Portuguese-inspired dishes like brick-roasted mussels and sausage, then mains like crispy confit duck leg. Everything made in-house, sometimes in the open kitchen's wood-burning oven. A gastropubby vibe, with plenty of outdoor seating (which may prove a challenge in this transitioning neighborhood).
