The refined movers and shakers who frequent this Hindi and palm-themed haunt, toast to its exotique comptoir asiatique, fine haute Provençale and Ligurian cuisine. Bazaar-quality clientele climaxes during the Cannes Film Festival. Bâoli, French for the famous Hindu wells, requires you to dig deep to enjoy its splendor. If permitted inside, strike a pose on the nearest mauve or mahogany Roche-Bobois sofa and salivate - everyone else is.
