Nouveau-Plantation decor makes you feel slightly like you're at an exclusive nursing home, despite the faux paparazzo who inexplicably snap "candid" shots as you eat. Regular pianist Charles Darden's medley of cheery classics contributes to the old folks ambiance, but he is certainly persistent. Pan-French food isn't bad, especially the sea bass. While touted as superb, Guanahani's signature restaurant is merely pleasant--the type of place you'd bring your parents--if they were footing the bill. Head next door to Bar'tô for some real fun.
