Editorial Review

Owned by Charles Wells, brewer of the eponymous Bombardier beer, this long low Anglo hang occupies a prime corner facing the back of the Panthéon and the church of St-Etienne-du-Mont. Serves a proper full English breakfast that will audibly harden your arteries, good fish ’n’ chips, and of course plenty on tap beyond the standard Seize. Great for a game (foot, rugby, cricket, racing) or just the sheer pleasure of ordering in English without shame.
