This grubby part of West London isn’t the first place you’d think of for a gastronomic treat, but Le Café Anglais has brought a bit of glamour to the area since opening here in 2007. The decor is clean and striking, with prominent art deco flourishes, and chef Rowley Leigh serves up delicious French-inspired cuisine such as pike boudin and grouse with game chips to affluent diners from the surrounding suburbs.
