Le Caprice

Editorial Review

Ain't no Chevy. Posh spot in The Pierre a stateside version of the classic London brasserie. Signature dishes carry over, like Thai-baked sea bass, crispy duck, salmon cakes. Some of the crowd carries over, too: definite jet set cachet. Big room done in monochrome chic, lots of lush blacks and whites. Photos of Jean Shrimpton on the wall. Tables filled by her contemporaries.
