Chef Antoine Heerah mixes flavors from his native Mauritius (a small island near Madagascar) with techniques that he picked up while working at Arpège. The result: french classics with a creole twist, like pigeon with plantains, or dark chocolate moelleux cake with vanilla and black pepper ice cream. The sunny terrasse is getting a lot of press as one of the best in the city. Prices are a bit higher than you normally find on the back side of the hill: three courses for 52€ (half that at lunch) or 115€ for five courses with wine pairings.
