Editorial Review

Iñaki Aizpitarte is a sexy young Basque chef who has foodies from every continent tossing their panties. After trailing hype from La Famille to Transversal, he and partner Frédéric Penau (Café Burq) opened Le Chateaubriand in 2006. The updated bistro has become a destination address, packed at lunch and both dinner seatings. Though not quite as audacious as his earlier experiments, Iñaki’s dinner menu is playful, expertly prepared, and beautifully plated. €13 lunch and four courses for €40 at dinner.
