Its old rep as an tourist trap wasn't easily shaken, but the French food press are finally on board for the new Jules Verne voyage. Now wearing the face of celeb chef Alain Ducasse (executed by Pascal Féraud), the cuisine is more than just a precursor to single knee proposals. It can't compete with the view, which begins the moment you step into your private elevator at the base of the Eiffel Tower, but it no longer detracts. It even garnered a Michelin star in the 2009 guide. These culinary and interior makeovers have resulted in ever-longer waits. Book for dinner, unless you're TomKat, two to three months in advance. The JV is open every day.
