One of the most exciting openings of fall 2010 is actually a re-opening: the Mini-Palais restaurant inside of the Grand Palais. A gorgeous reworking by designers Patrick Gilles and Dorothee Bossier has left the interior feeling light, airy, and terribly stylish. The real makeover, however, has taken place in the kitchen. Three star chef Eric Frechon (Le Bristol) consulted on the menu and installed his protegé Stephane d'Aboville as acting chef. This is serious food in a beautiful space with unusually convenient hours: they're open daily from 10am to 2am.
