Philippe Delacourcelle’s willingness to experiment with spice and exotic ingredients has earned him a rabid local following. The mauve dining room gets jammed for the bargain lunch, so arrive early. Short, seasonally changing carte begs return visits, and the salty-sweet desserts are disarming—think roasted fig with olives and ice cream, or yellow-pepper clafouti with raspberries. A new cookbook and Tokyo branch should tell you something about it's popularity. €13.50 lunch includes a glass of wine + coffee, three courses at dinner are €27.50. Closed Sunday and Monday.
