If you're willing to take the Metro to the southern reaches of the 15th, you'll be rewarded by an increasingly elusive pleasure: the Authentic Paris Bistro experience. This moderately priced and traditionally decorated restaurant is a favorite among locals and serves stellar versions of classic dishes like confit de canard. It's near the Paris expo hall, in case you're planning to visit one of the food and wine fairs hosted there and want a great meal afterward. Priced at only €32 for three courses, with reasonably priced wines to boot.
