Le Souk Harem

Editorial Review

Former East Village pariah/magnet Le Souk adds "Harem" to the name, signals that it's not going PC yet. Belly dancers, hookahs, general debauchery spread out over massive tri-level space. Shades of the exotic just like the original, think Moroccan lanterns and Islamic arches. Downstairs for dining, middle level for tented canoodling, third floor for blowouts like Monday night Arabian Circus. Go over the top with dish full of lamb belly, lobster tail, and bone marrow plate, wash down with an expert bourbon and rum Fleur d'Oranger.
