Paris » Bar » Montmartre » Clandestine
The word was just whispered over the wires: l'Hotel Particulier Montmartre has just opened a semi-secret bar on the grounds of their leafy Montmartre estate. From 5-11 on Thursday to Sunday, you can ring the bell and ask to "boire un verre." The black iron gates will open onto a private, leafy garden, the sort that you can't imagine exists inside the city. Inside the hotel - one of the city's most intriguing and intimate (check our listing) - you'll find a discreet and candlelit salon. Ask David, the New York bartender, to slide you "between the sheets" or whatever sort of sip you fancy.
