Liar's Club

Editorial Review

Owner Herb Rosen hasn't swapped out the bar's KISS Meets the Phantom of the Theme Park VHS tape since the doors opened more than 10 years ago, but Liar's red fez lampshades, red vinyl booths, and too-tiny dance floor will always draw the low brow sophistos. Downstairs is for beer-spraying sing-a-longs and secret shows by bands like the Eagles of Death Metal. The upstairs bar is for pool, pinball, and intimate conversation.
