Homey from the jump, with vintage appliances disguised as furniture, snuggle-up-with-us afghans draped over wingbacks, hot beverages and heartier fare like soups and toasted paninis to chase away the chills of even the coldest dog-walking farmer's market-goer. Great music, tasty baked goods, and serious wi-fi that supports VPNs. Currently a blink-and-you'd-miss-it hidden gem, afternoon (and morning) delights at this linger-friendly Gulf Island-style cafe may face huge crowds from the five-ring circus in 2010 when the nearby Olympic skating venue opens, so go now.
