Most nights the siren song of small ensembles floats out to the sidewalk, as the lights behind the bar pull like booze-powered tractor beams. Quality live music is the draw here, so stick to just drinks (martinis are the specialty) and spend the few bucks you save in the collection jar the musicians pass around. With two talented bands a night and never any cover, it's a great value for your jazzy dollar that doesn't involve downtown.
