BlackBook Lowdown

Bring your chiquita to this diminutive Cuban place. What it lacks in décor it makes up for in flavor. The spicy chorizo could topple Castro. Salmon with plantains is unbelievable and unexpected, likewise the shrimp ceviche. Officially our favorite Cubano sandwich, ideal with a native brew. Communism: Poised for the big comeback!

perhaps anywhere. the food is authentic, light, and wonderful..the atmosphere is exactly what you can imagine in nyc, sophisticated but not pompous, wonderful and memorable. not to be missed.
