Livingston

Editorial Review

Nearly a century after the Georgian Terrace Hotel opened, an anchor restaurant emerged with contemporary Southern haute. Chandeliers drip with crystal, ornate iron rail runs along the second level, and bar grazers interweave near a bust of former, ancient Atlanta Mayor Livingston Mims. Theater hounds soak swank before a show at the nearby Fox Theatre. Super chef Gary Mennie rules the open kitchen with aces like veal porterhouse, soft-shell crab and Georgia white shrimp.
